The TO9/TO8/TO9+ disk version from the Logiciels Nathan Ecoles : Mathématiques compilation has a series of commented-out lines in ANGLES.BAS, which are not present in any of the tape releases, including the one for the MO series. They are as follows:

  • Lines 2 to 4 contains a credit to programmer Serge Pouts-Lajus and a build date of October 1984:

' Titre : Angles
' Auteur : POUTS-LAJUS
' Date : OCTOBER 84

  • Lines 40 to 44 contain a list of variables and what they do. It seems they were of interest to Nathan, the game's publisher.

  • Lines 7920 and 7930, which are part of the main menu routine, contain key checks for EFF and ↵ Return, respectively. Upon pressing the former, the game would go to a light pen/key test, otherwise it would go to a choice processing routine. Upon pressing the latter, the player would be redirected to mostly stubbed out routine at 8910', then go back to the main menu.

'IF ASC(ZR$)=29 THEN GOSUB 3910 ELSE 7950
'IF ASC(ZR$)=13 THEN GOSUB 8910:DREFF=1:GOTO7001

  • anglesTHOMSON-unusedarrow.pngLine 7952 is part of the aforementioned choice processing routine, which would draw an arrow to the screen then wait until the light pen is used/a key is touched after a mode is selected in the main menu.

  • Lines 8935, 8950 and 8970 are commands to open an "INSTIT" file, get the parameters listed from Lines 40 to 44, and close it. Similar lines are present, in the exact same positions, in Avant et Après and Produits et Surfaces.

  • Lines 10000 to 10045 have a few more parameter listings:
