Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is the first new Metal Gear game (excluding Metal Gear Survive) since the infamous Konami-Kojima split. It's a faithful remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, bringing the legend of Big Boss back to life. It also revives the "Guy Savage" minigame from the original PlayStation 2 version (which is developed by Platinum Games in this remake) and adds in a new Photo Mode.
Metal Gear Solid 3 Leftovers#
The full assets for the original MGS3 are included in the game files. While some assets such as audio and animations are used, the original PS2 character models and level geometry are not.1

Version Differences#
