Gargoyles

Gargoyles is a Sega Genesis game based on the Disney cartoon of the same name. Stone Gargoyles spring to life when the sun sets and they set out to fight the bad guys.

Free Movement Mode#

During gameplay, pause and press C, A, Left, Left, A, C, A, B (CALL A CAB). Unpause, hold A+B+C and use the D-Pad to move around the stage.

Hidden Developer Messages#

These messages were removed in the version included in Gargoyles Remastered, being replaced with spaces.

Chris Shrigley#

Pause the game and press B, A, Left, Left, B, A, Left, Left (BALL BALL) to view a hidden message from programmer Chris Shrigley.

Joel Goodsell#

Pause the game and press C, A, Left, Left, C, A, C to view a hidden message from level designer Joel Goodsell.

Build Date#

At 0x3E7F is a build date. The code that would have displayed it on the title screen was compiled out, gated behind a compile-time flag.
