Demae Channel

This game is defunct. Do note the game no longer works at all without modifications. This is most likely due to the game's servers being shut down (as of March 31, 2017). As a result, further official developments with the game are unlikely to happen.

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: apps.7z/pdtool in the wiidump.7z Nintendo leak is possibly related.

The Demae Channel was essentially a meal delivery website in the form of a Wii Channel: users could order food from local restaurants in their area to be brought to their home, and pay the deliverer as they would normally. A version for the Wii U would later be released in 2013.

This channel was discontinued on March 31, 2017. However, it is possible to restore functionality by installing WiiLink.

Development-Related Text#

The CVS folders present in the root of the 00000010.app and 00000011.app archives contain several files (most without file extensions) holding leftover text from the development process.

Even though the channel was only released in Japan, if the system language is set to anything other Japanese (such as English), the Demae Channel's Assistant Channel will display a different icon (which translates to "Delivery Channel") and the text in the grey box under it has broken text.
