The number of workers is currently limited to %u. The request for %u workers is ignored. Further requests for more workers will be silently ignored until the limit changes.
Thread stack size has been already set to %u. The request for larger stack (%u) cannot be satisfied.
RML might limit the number of workers to %u while %u is requested.

Asset Differences#

The PC version of the game lacks the high-resolution texture assets present in the PS5 version (and presumably Xbox Series X as well). This is evidenced by the game's bigger install size on those platforms and confirmed by comparing the unpacked files of both versions, which shows the PS5 version having an extra resolution tier for most environment textures.

One thing that points to the high-resolution assets being planned to be released as free downloadable content, like other games have done in the past in the same fashion, is a depot for the game on Steam called CP2 Content (high resolution) that's attached to an unnamed and unlisted DLC. The depot does seem to contain all the high-resolution assets from the next-gen versions, but is not available for download, not even through Steam's console. It is unknown why this was never released despite seemingly being ready to be shipped.

Cut Tracks#

Inside trackfilter.txt found in the "models/worlds" folder are mentions of a track set in Solovetsky, Russia. No track in such location is present in the final game or its DLCs.

Cut Liveries#

The following liveries are unused in the final game but can still be found in the files.

There are more livery textures that go unused, but they are either repeats of liveries already present in the final game or a clone of one of these two textures. The second one is the same one shown in the previous gallery applied on the Brenthel Industries Class 10.
