This article has a talk page! This page details one or more prototype versions of Tetris (NES, Tengen).
Prototype AThe earliest known dumped build, with different graphics for the title screen, Tetriminos, and the board compared to later builds.
Prototype BA later build with a noticeably different title theme that is nowhere to be found in the final game, and a new title screen lacking the falling Tetriminos that form the logo.
Prototype CLater build, with the level clear jingle playing every time 10 lines are cleared, but only in this build. Also, things slowly more and more fall into place (hah).
Prototype DSimilar to Prototype C, but with the non-simultaneous clearing of lines being reverted to the way it was before Prototype C.
