This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. |

To do: Kiosk and digital demos resemble each other being similar in available content though their filesizes varies (for example Kiosk demos are around 106MB heavier than the digital demo). |
for this game, the kiosk demos and digital demos resemble each other and to the user are only slightly different in the available content (though the available characters are the same), the filesize on the other hand indicate a different story.
General Differences#
- An image telling the player that it is still unfinished and may have content different than the retail version is present.
- Exclusively to the kiosk demos, an image with the rating also shows up, these shows either the PEGI or ESRB rating depend on the region of the demo.
- On the EU kiosk demo, a screen is present after beating arcade mode thanking the player for playing, this does not pop up in the NA version.
- The press start screen plays the character's theme . This screen is silent (except for sound effects) in the digital demo and retail version.
- Arcade doesn't let you choose your course, it is also exclusive to this version using characters and stages combo different to any of the retail courses.
- While the kiosk demo use the retail icon and top screen stuff, the demo version add demo in red (in a different font from the logo) (non Japanese demo) or some Japanese text (probably meaning demo) in red (Japanese demo) to the Dead or Alive: Dimensions on the top screen. The icon also adds the same text as white on grey text.
- Press start screen in both kiosk and digital demos have Demo (体験版 (taikenban) in the Japanese digital demo) on the top right, pressing the start button is required as it will not react to input on the bottom screen as the bottom screen is taken by a how to play diagram. Because of this, the Press start text is on the top screen.
Interface Differences#
- By going in the pause menu, a normally empty space is filled by a button prompt which when pressed shows the how to play diagram from the press start screen.
