More notoriously, it also deviates from previous games by using AI-generated imagery for most of its backgrounds instead of photoshopped stock assets, which has upset some Touhou fans. ZUN asserted that his stance on the technology remains negative, but after we played Kinjoukyou and beat Final Boss, we knew the true reason...

Unlock Code#
The tradition of beer-themed unlock codes continues here. This time, there are two different codes that appear to do the same thing:
- On the Score Ranking screen, select Reimu, the second green stone, and Lunatic difficulty, then type
classiclager. - On the Trophy screen, highlight #14 (second row, fourth column), then type
superdry.
If either one was entered correctly, you'll hear the 1up sound, and the Extra Stage and all practice stages will be unlocked.

Unused Enemies#
Lily White appears in the enemy folder inside of th20.dat. It's not clear why she's here, as she wasn't in Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost or this game's trial version, so its possibly a leftover from Touhou 18.
