Danmaku Amanojaku: Impossible Spell Card

Impossible Spell Card is the 14.3rd entry in the Touhou Project series, and the first to omit "Touhou" from its title.

Unused Sprites#

Some unused sprites are carryovers from previous games.

Wakasagihime underwater. Like in the last game, no attack/spellcard requires her to be underwater, so it went unused too.

Keine casting her magic.

Unused sprites of Yuyuko attacking from Ten Desires.

Raiko doesn't slam anywhere during her attacks.

Yatsuhashi's sprites where she's holding a music note is also unused here.

Unused sprites of Mamizou disguised as Reimu for her spellcard Transformation "Pseudo-Exorcism of the Stupid Shrine Maiden". Most likely a carryover from Ten Desires.

Both Remilia's moving and bat form sprites are unused, just like in Shoot the Bullet

Ran doesn't even appear as an opponent in this game. Her sprites shares the same spritesheet as Yukari, that's why her sprites are unused.

Full Unlock Code#

On the Nickname screen, highlight achievement number 18 (second row, eighth column) and type heartland. If done correctly, you'll hear the 1up sound, and all stages will be unlocked.

Given the (extremely on-brand) theme of every unlock code since Mountain of Faith, this one is probably a specific reference to Kirin Heartland beer.
