This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. |
A very simple auto-battler with RPG elements. The player represents an "operator" communicating with combat pilots. There are a handful of scenarios cribbed from the original Gundam television show; the player selects a pilot and Mobile Suit from their hangar, then issues waypoints to the pilot and toggles their orders between long and short-range combat or evasion. Players can level up pilots over time and buy or customize their Mobile Suits. The game uses the WonderSwan's vertical display mode to show a top-down view of the battlefield, with a simple blackout "fog of war" effect on unseen areas. The developer, SIMS, was also working on multiple Digimon and other licensed games for the Wonderswan, Saturn, and PS1 simultaneously. This would be their only entry in the Gundam series.
