This is a sub-page of Proto:The Simpsons Game (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360)/July 10, 2007 (E3).

Most of the cutscenes in this build are in a very early state - hand-drawn animatics with 4:3 safelines and placeholder voices galore! A few cutscenes are actually animated in 3D like the DS version, but still incomplete with missing backgrounds in a lot of places. None of these are actually seen in-game, oddly enough, and the Movies menu doesn't work.

The cutscene has lots of extended shots, being closer to the original episode the cutscene is based on. The White Chocolate Rabbit at the end also shakes his tail instead of moving it.

The animatic contains a longer shot of the bullies leaving the Egyptian arfifact exhibit, and the text on its display is "Mesopotamia 6000 BC Recipe for a Successful Civilization" instead of "Egyptian Artifacts Now Less Boring".

brt_igc02.vp6 - Skinner Confesses

The shot at the start of Bart and Homer keeping the bullies from escaping is longer. Skinner's line "Yes, it is me! I mean, it is I. Wait, no, it's me. Me." was changed to "Yes it is I! I mean me. No, it is I, yes." and Chief Wiggum's lines "Sorry. We would have been here sooner, but I just can't get the hang of mapquest." and "I know I'm supposed to book him. You don't have to be a jerk about it." were changed to "Sorry, sorry. We would have been here sooner, but I can't get the hang of this dang mapquest." and "I know I'm supposed to book him. Gosh, you don't have to be such a jerk."

The cutscene uses demo versions of completely different music tracks using virtual instruments. Oddly enough, despite using a more finalized version of the cutscene, the same tracks (even done using live instruments) can also be heard in the DS version. Bart and Lisa's general expressions at the start are different, and the first shot of Mr. Burns is extended. The second shot of Mr. Burns exclaiming to Smithers is also part of the first shot.

At the beginning of the cutscene, a voiceline from Homer can be heard that was originally intended for the ending cutscene of the Bargain Bin episode, after the Simpsons figure out how to reach the Creator. A subtitle string for this line still exists in the Beta 4 build. The music in this scene is also an early demo version of the final track, using virtual instruments. Additionally, some shots are noticeably longer than in the final cutscene. When the Sea Captain yells at Lisa, you can briefly see her start to cry, a detail that was carried over to the 3D version of the cutscene in the Beta 4 build but removed in the final 2D version.
