This is a sub-page of Proto:Rayman 3 (GameCube)/E3 Prototype/Unused Textures.
Rayman#
The prototype contains two sets of textures for Rayman's early design, both of which are very identical to the art style of Rayman 2. The first texture depicts Rayman with his clothing being all torn up (which is what the word "déchire" translates to). The other shows him being completely shirtless, supposedly meant to be used for the Balloons minigame.

Power-up Costumes#
Textures of Rayman's early power-up costume designs.

Murfy#

Two texture sets for Murfy. The first set looks similar to his Rayman 2 design albeit more expressive and with improved graphics. The second set is closer to his Rayman 3 design with a darker shade of colors.

Teensies#
Textures for the Teensies. Going off by their filenames, these were Teensy tribes that were meant to appear in a desert (The Desert of the Knaaren), a swamp (The Bog of Murk?), a tropical area and a forest (presumably Clearleaf Forest).

Clark#
Textures of Clark the Giant from Rayman 2. Nearly identical to the textures of Rayman 2 with some minor modifications.

Ssssam#
Textures of Ssssam the Watersnake from Rayman 2. Nearly identical to the textures of Rayman 2 with some minor modifications.

Hoodmonger Private/Hoodblaster#
Textures for the Hoodmonger Private's early design. Their outfit looks slightly different and a bit more darker compared to the final design.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Hoodmonger Officer#
Textures of the Hoodmonger Officer's early design. The old design pretty much resembled a regular Hoodmonger except he was wearing chain nmail armor and some kind of metal bulletproof vest.

Location: databin/textures_txc/charact
Slapdash#
Textures for the Slapdash early design. There are two distinct variations of the enemy: A dark green-colored variant wielding a stick with a hand attached to it, and another whose appearance looks a little closer to the final game.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Hoodboom/Stumbleboom#
Textures for the Hoodboom's early design. Previously seen in prerelease material, this version of Hoodboom has a different color scheme and looks less sinister than its final design does. Unsirprisingly of course, the Hoodboom's other variant, the Stumbleboom, shares the same textures as him.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Hoodoo#
Textures for Hoodoo's early design. It has a different color scheme and some additional moon and star symbols for the upper half of his cloak but the overall model remains the same as the final.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Grim & Grim Keeper#
Textures of the Grim & Grim Keeper's early designs. The Grim Keeper is wearing a brown leather vest on the upper half, with white sleeves and mittens. The robe on his lower-half looks less detailed. In regards to equipment, his helmet was swapped from bronze to black and his shield is notably smaller.
Grimm has textures specifically for his head. As seen in the picture on the right, the Grims originally lacked torso and instead were hoping around with their heads, carrying out plum juice bombs.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Spineroo#
Textures of the Spineroo's early design. His chain mail originally had a darker shade. Same thing applies for the metal balls he's holding.

Location: databin/textures_txc/charact
Lavomatrix#
Textures for the Lavomatrix's early design. The old design looks vastly different, having more of a knight-like appearance rather than a washing machine. Interestingly, there are two sets of textures for the Lavomatrix.

Locations: databin/textures_cnt/Charact and textures_txc/charact
Heckler#

Textures that resemble the appearance of a scrapped Hoodlum enemy who consists two distinct Hoodlums conjoined together via sewing threads. On top of that, its filename is the same as the Heckler's textures, "hrolk", further confirming that this was an early design of the Heckler Hoodlum.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Cagalpha#
Textures of the Cagalpha, a Hoodlum that was meant to confront Rayman throughout the Hoodlum Headquarters but was later removed from the game for unknown reasons.

Location: databin/textures_txc/charact
Kagoubinôme#
Textures of what appears to be the Kagoubinôme, another scrapped Hoodlum enemy. Similarly to the Lavomatrix above, there are two sets of textures for the Kagoubinôme, with the second one being a palette swap.

Unknown Hoodlum Textures#
Various textures of Hoodlums units that may or may have not been early designs of the Hoodblaster judging from the heads.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Wooglah#
Textures of the Wooglah, a scrapped bird creature that was meant to play a crucial role during an early iteration of Rayman 3's story.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Podocrock#
Textures for the Podocrocks. Unlike their final design, this one appears to resemble a mushroom, which is pretty fitting considering the textures are titled "champi", as in champignon (mushroom in French).

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Mudis#
Textures of the Mudis/Mudsters, early iterations of the Muddibogs.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/Charact
Knaaren#
Early textures for the regular Knaaren enemies, with lower contrast and less detailed.

Location: databin/textures_cnt/charact
Reflux#
Textures of Reflux. According to the filenames, these were meant to be used for Reflux's gigantic form. Interestingly, the official art book of Rayman 3 features an early design of giant Reflux which matches the look of these textures.

Location: databin/textures_txc/charact
Glandeur#

Textures of a squirell-like creature, the Glandeur. In French, Glandeur translates to "slacker" but it could also be a pun to the word gland (acorn in French), which is what it holds. A statue that resembles the Glandeur exists in the final game, inside Razoff's Mansion. And if you try applying the textures to it... voila! It fits perfectly!
