GoldenEye 007 (Nintendo DS)

This needs some investigation.

Specifically: Check if there's more debugging stuff!

The DS GoldenEye 007 is a downgraded port of the Wii version. Neither was developed by Rare due to being owned by Microsoft, which also made it impossible to do a proper re-release/remake of the stellar Nintendo 64 original.

Anti-Piracy#

Rubber bullets, indeed

This game utilizes the DS Protect anti-piracy library to ensure that it is not being run off a flashcart or emulator. If any of the DS Protect checks fail, the game disallows saving or loading from a save; always treating each bootup as if starting the game for the first time. Additionally, all weapons will have no range, and thus will not travel anywhere but rebound at an invisible wall close to the player. This makes it impossible to get past the beginning cutscene, as the player is unable to actually shoot the exploding truck to make the game progress.
