DuckTales is a port of the NES game with completely new level design. WOO-OO!
Regional Differences#
Title Screen#
Japan |
America |
Europe |
|---|---|---|
The Japanese version features a unique title graphic and simplified copyright text. The European version also simplifies the copyright text and places it at the bottom, and moves the difficulty options down.
Transition Delay#
In international releases, there's a delay of 64 frames before the player can press Start to transition from the title and land select screens. The Japanese version lacks these checks.
Ending#
|
Japan |
International |
|---|---|
|
|
|
Just like with the NES game, the Japanese version has the "DREAM AND FRIENDS" ending. Scrooge is properly centered in the international versions, and his face was redrawn to match the title screen.
Reset Code#
Present exclusively in the Japanese version, holding Select and pressing Start will reset the game.
