The NES Darkwing Duck is basically a shorter Mega Man game with a shield added that wasn't released in Capcom's home territory of Japan.

This smiley face is used as a placeholder in the sewer tileset. A similar graphic appears in Mega Man 3.
Unused Music#
Only the first 26 seconds of the ending theme plays before the track is cut off, leaving the other 26 seconds unused.
