Ep101#
The folder "Ep101", which contains the videos for the first episode, also houses a plethora of unused videos. Most of these videos are related to storyboarding or in-progress animations.
SDN_EP01_SQ0010-0060a#
A storyboard of the scene where Robert drops Toxic off the balcony. The final version of this scene does not have the Mecha Man suit flying away.
SDN_EP01_SQ0010-0060b#
A storyboard of the scene where Robert pulls Toxic up from the balcony. The final version of this scene does not have the Mecha Man suit flying away.
SDN_EP01_SQ0010-0080a#
A storyboard of an unfamiliar scene of Mecha Man using a wall for cover and missiles to attack. This video is present in the demo, though it is split into two videos. There doesn't seem to be a final version of this scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0010-0080b#
A storyboard of Mecha Man using a blade to cut a box, then throwing a missile back to an enemy. The first part of this video is present in the demo, where it is named "ActionPrototype01_DragAndDrop_Choice03_Sword". There doesn't seem to be a final version of this scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0050x#
A storyboard of two of Shroud's guards on a walkway at the steelmill. This video is a single still frame. There doesn't seem to be a final version of this scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0060x#
A continuation of the previous video. In the final version of this scene, the guard Robert takes down is alone in a room, while the smoking one is still at a balcony.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0070x#
A storyboard of the smoking guard turning around to see his friend strangled. The last portion of this video has repeated movements, suggesting a QTE would trigger here. There doesn't seem to be a final version of this scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0080a#
A storyboard of Robert taking down the smoking guard. The "a" in the name of the video indicates this would play if the player beat the QTE. In the final version of the scene, the guard does not attempt to call reinforcements.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0080b#
A storyboard of Robert taking down the smoking guard. The "b" in the name of the video indicates this would play if the player failed to beat the QTE. In the final version of the scene, the guard does not attempt to call reinforcements, and suffers less of a beating.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0090x#
A continuation of the previous scene. The section of this video where the cigarette goes flying and Robert catches the guard is very similar to the final, in-game scene. However, this storyboard adds the comical sequence of Robert puppeting the guard, then taking down the other guard below.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0140a#
A colored storyboard of Robert taking down the two armed hallway guards. It is very similar to the final, in-game scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0140b#
A colored storyboard that is nearly identical to the previous one, the only difference being the position of the characters in certain frames. Again, it is very similar to the final, in-game scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0160a#
A continuation of the previous video, where Robert finishes a guard. This video is also present in the demo. Unlike all of the other videos from this folder, this video is in the .mp4 format instead of .webm. The final version of this scene is similar to this video.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0180a#
A colored storyboard that seems to be the result of Robert electrocuting a guard. In-game, no such electrocution happens.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0180b#
A colored storyboard similar to the previous one, but in this one Robert takes fire then shoots the guard. In-game, no such shooting happens.
DN_EP01_SQ0015-0190x#
A colored storyboard of Robert recovering a guard's tablet, then hacking into it. This is very similar to the in-game scene, which is followed by the game's first hacking section.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0250a#
An early render of the scene with Robert in the Mecha Man suit, shortly after punting Toxic. This animation uses flat materials and no visual effects, similar to a playblast. The video has some animation information along the top and bottom, and the text "NON-DISCLOSURE" and "FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY" faintly across the video. It also has some red text in the middle, though it is hard to tell what it says. Compared to the final scene, this video is slightly longer.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0250b#
A story board of the scene with Robert in the Mecha Man suit, shortly after stomping Toxic. This video is very similar to the in-game scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300a#
Another early render, this one of Mecha Man fighting Toxic. It also has animation information, and the "INTERNAL USE ONLY" text, but lacks the red text. It has a green bar at the bottom of the video, that fades away. The video is very similar to the final, in-game scene.

SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300a_In4#
An early render nearly identical to the previous one, though it is paced slightly differently. It also lacks the green bar, and has different animation information.
The following content is |
|---|
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300c#
Another early render of the same scene. The only differences between this one and SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300a are Toxic's attacks being positioned differently, and the structures/pipes behind Mecha Man are moved very slightly.

SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300d#
Another early render of the same scene. The only differences between this one and SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300a are Toxic's attacks being timed differently.

SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300d#
Yet another early render of the same scene. In this version, all of Toxic's attacks land.
The following content is |
|---|
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0310x#
This video is a mix of a 3D previsualization and a storyboard. The scene is a continuation of Mecha Man fighting Toxic. It uses a low-poly environment and characters, and colored sketches. The stand-in for Toxic at the start seems to be a model of Lightningstruck. The sequence is very similar to the final scene, although the "slow mo" implied at the end of the video does not happen.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0320a#
This video, another previs and storyboard mix, is the scene of Toxic emerging from the steam. At the end of the video, it has the text "THIS IS TOXIC" to clarify who the seemingly random character is supposed to be. Toxic lunging from the steam is very similar to the final scene.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0320b#
This video, another previs and storyboard mix, starts with notes of how this scene should be choreographed. It also has a note regarding the smoke/steam, as "Toxic" throws a punch. Though, the written actions don't happen in the final version of the scene, nor do the illustrated attacks.
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0360a#
An early render of the scene where Mecha Man slams Toxic into the wall, and is then lifted away. It contains more animation data, the green bar, and the "NON-DISCLOSURE" text, the latter being positioned differently. The video is very similar to the final scene.
The following content is |
|---|
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0360c#
This video is nearly identical to the previous one, the only difference being that this video starts and ends seven frames later into the animation.
The following content is |
|---|
SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0360d#
In a similar fashion, this video is almost exactly the same as SDN_EP01_SQ0015-0300c, but it starts just one frame later.

ChoiceStats#
The subfolder ChoiceStats contains the short videos that play at the end of an episode and tell you what percentage of players selected the choices you made.
Choice_101_Kiss#
This unused video is an alternate version of the ChoiceStat for if you chose to kiss Blazer. Compared to the used video, Robert's lips are more open, and the positioning is overall slightly different. Also, the used video matches the in-game kiss scene, meaning Choice_101_Kiss was either rendered independently, or taken from another version of the scene.
