Unused Auction House & Player Stores#

Unfinished store menu connected to the auction house and player stores still accessible in-game via commands.

According to what was planned in development documents, the game was originally going to include an auction house shortly after the official release. An icon that an NPC related to accessing the auction house would've had above their head as well as an icon for showing them on the map still exist in the game and can be seen through modding.

Additionally, an unfinished store menu specifically related to the auction house and player stores is still accessible via client-side commands. It's unknown whether the player stores were going to replace the planned auction house mechanic or if both were meant to co-exist.

Unused Freemium Store#

Mock-up of what the page was going to look like. FF-CN_Points_buying_mockup.png A storefront available in-game and on the game's website utilizing a premium currency bought with real money was being worked on and was seemingly going to become the main revenue source once the game transitioned to being Free-To-Play. Based on unused upsells and mock-ups, it seems that vehicles, armor, cosmetics, weapons and boosters were planned to be purchasable including items exclusive to Membership holders. However, higher-ups scrapped it in favor of an ad-based model including playing ads before entering the game, ads on the games website and a few collaborations with upcoming movie releases. An unfinished version of the menu is still accessible via client-side commands as well as certain development builds feature a green "Shop" button added to the right-side of one of the menus in-game.

Unused Nanos#

Leftover from when the game used exclusively the original Ben 10 series, Upgrade and Ghostfreak have incomplete Nanos in the game's files. They have finished models and textures however they lack several key animations to make them complete. They would be replaced in the final game with Humungousaur and Swampfire. Additionally, a leftover Nano Ben is also in the game's files. This Nano was never meant to be released and was purely made for testing purposes.

A Nano Bobo Haha was also planned, however, only an icon remains with no models, animations or textures present in the game's files.
