An air hockey game, released in Japan as part of Success' SuperLite 1500 series of budget games.
Unused Graphic#
BIN\SYSTEM.TIM contains many text graphics that wouldn't look out of place in an arcade game.
Regional Differences#
After its original release in Japan, the game was localized for the European, and later the American markets as well, with several changes being done between them.
Intro/Title#
- No background is displayed during the character splash screens in the European release, only being so afterwards. The "HOOOCKEY!!" text is also not seen. The American release fixes both of these issues.
- The lightning background seen in the introduction had the text "Let The Battle Commence ..." added in the European release. The text remained in the American release, albeit with an additional gradient effect.
- The "Push Start Button" graphic is different in the American release.
- The animations are much slower in the European release. It's likely they weren't optimized for lower framerates.
