Added in the Test Drive demo, the Nismo 270R originally had additional color options other than black, but no side decals or wheels.
Curiously, one of them is orange, possibly a coincidental reference to Kenta Nakamura's S14 Silvia from Initial D, although he drives a standard Q's model in that series.

Present only in the Test Drive demo is the Citroën Xsara Rally Car acting as the racing modification for the Citroën Xsara 1.8i 16V Exclusive, which would be spun off as a separate car in the final game.
- The red color option was removed; ironically enough, the real car that it is based on is red with white roof.
- The rear wing was strangely moved from the rear trunk to the roof.
- The road car's wheels are used.
