Pre-Release Games

Before Pizza Tower's development had begun, McPig had worked on various games, however the genres, gameplay, and even sprite style all vary. Not much is known about these games, but what is known is very sparse, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Pizza Massacre#

Watch on YouTubeThis game was planned to be a 2D Resident Evil-like horror game featuring Peppino. The visual style for this game is more grim and scary, with Peppino being slightly more realistic, with slightly more detail and shading.

There are loads of sprites that were created for Peppino. In fact, some sprites were compiled into a singular animation!

Pizza Crawler#

Unlike the previous game, Pizza Crawler is a cancelled spinoff that was briefly on worked by members of the Pizza Tower Discord, with McPig helping by making sprites for it. It was announced in the Discord's "Thing of the Week" channel on February 8, 2019, but was cancelled sometime the same year when its only programmer stopped working on it. Notably, this game was going to feature Gustavo as its main character instead of Peppino; in fact, Gustavo was actually created specifically for this game!

Pizza Crawler was going to be a top-down rogue-like where you explored randomly-generated levels. There were originally going to be turn-based RPG elements too, but this was later scrapped.
