Debug Menu#
A fairly simple debug menu can be enabled with the below code. Pressing Start button here will start the game. Sound Test will allow you to play the game's music and voices. MC CHECK contains a handful of memory card functions. No other menu options work.
USA Code:
Boot To Debug Menu
00101414 00000000
With the above code on, you will come to the debug menu when first starting the game.

Sound Test#
This menu allows you to play all of the game's music and voices.
- Circle plays a song or voice file.
- X stops the current sound.
- Start returns you to the main debug menu.
MC CHECK#
This allows you to test various memory card functions. Press Circle to enter an option.
Regional Differences#
The European version removes all subtitles from the game (a custom with home ports of Time Crisis games in that region), other than one indicating where Geyser 1 is located. Additionally, Crimson Beach, the final stage of the console-exclusive Grassmarket District storyline is called Crismon Sea in that version, with the Crimson Beach audio spoken in a different tone compared to other level names.
