Unused Voice Lines#

Kantaris has some voice clips that go unused in the final game:

Regional Differences#

The music that plays over the ending cut-scenes in the special mode was changed for the European version, most likely due the slower framerate. It is worth noting that unlike the rest of the music in the special mode, the ending cut-scene and loading screen music was not composed by the sound team, but rather made up of samples sourced from the "Symphonic Adventures" sample library made by Sound Ideas. The main difference between the North American and European versions is the added length and re-arrangement of samples used.

Debug Menu#

Use the following GameShark code, then press L2 on Controller 2 (using a regular controller) at the title screen to display a debug menu. All of the debug menu is controlled by Controller 2. Do note that while the code works in the American release, the menu does not fully display there. The functions don't seem to be present in the European release.

Undocumented PlayStation Mouse Support#

Although not mentioned anywhere in the manual or in the packaging, the game supports the PlayStation Mouse. However, the game will treat the mouse as if it's the GunCon, meaning no crosshairs will appear, and clicking to shoot will result in the screen flashing, as if a GunCon was fired.
