Super Bubsy is a Windows port of Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, with all of the graphics redrawn at double the resolution. Also notably the only "classic" Bubsy game to be absent from Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection for whatever reason.

Notes |
|---|---|
This sprite is never used. It was probably intended for a title card. |
|
This placeholder sprite does not get used, instead, VICTORY2.PNG is used instead of VICTORY1.PNG. |
|
This sprite was never redrawn, perhaps it was violent? Interestingly enough, it uses one of the early palletes for the original game, with the "null exclamation mark" color. |
|
Enemies#
There is a leftover placeholder sprite of a Woolie spinning after being stomped.
Misc#
SETUP_BUBSY.PNG and SETUP_WOOLIE.png |
The final images found in the executable files |
|---|---|
There exists a transparent background version of the setup images in the game's sprite file. They are not used, instead the executable loads a version with a pink background which disappears after being applied to a window.

Notes |
|---|---|---|
Placeholder intro sprites. The final version uses a still image of Bubsy smiling. |

There is an unused icon in the files. It is used in the game's icon, but the icon is on SPRBUB.FST (File where every graphics are stored there), which this graphic does not get used.
Unused Text#
Loading Screen#
Whenever the game displays a loading screen, it shows one of several randomly-chosen "humorous" messages. However, the game's code contains a much longer list, which doesn't seem to appear in-game. Interestingly, many of the unused messages seem to relate to Bubsy being killed by obstacles (water, cars, eggs, etc.). A loading screen occurs whenever Bubsy loses a life, so presumably these would have been used in the appropriate situation, but in practice the used messages are all generic (and mostly just about loading/waiting).
The full list is below. Since the selection is random, it's possible that any of the others can appear and just haven't yet been observed to do so.

Debug Stuff#
Typing "mouse" on any level, or cutscenes makes the entire level (and cutscenes) scroll where your mouse is positioned.
"shark" positions Bubsy in the upper left corner of the beginning of the level. Makes him invicible to any enemy.
"sls" makes bubsy slide into any direction.
"bbpan" positions Bubsy in the upper left corner and he glides indefinitely, clipping to the ground, sometimes going into another level. Purpose unknown.
"dozo" plays an sound. Purpose unknown.
Unfortunately, typing "status", "credit" does nothing. Purpose unknown.
"GH44" Enables invicibility, either on or off.
"DDB4" Disables timer, either on or off.
Level/Cutscene Debug#
Typing any of these grants you access to other levels or cutscenes.

Oddities#
DEAD_PUPPY String#
In the executable at 0x08DC60, there is a string named DEAD_PUPPY.
Unused Sounds#
BUBINTRO.WAV#
A studio quality mix of the title theme from the original console versions. While the title screen itself is silent in this remake, the theme is still heard in the bonus areas. However, a MIDI rendition is used instead. It was probably intended for the title screen, but goes unused.
ALARM.WAV#
An alarm sound taken from the Bubsy TV pilot.
Unused Music#
1DEMISE2.MID#
A short jingle resembling the first level's theme. Given the file name, its intended use may have had something to do with losing a life.
W2FLARE.MID#
Strangely enough, while the fair chapters have an exact unused snippet of the SNES version of Bubsy that goes unused on the game as well.
