Oddities

This is a sub-page of Sonic Generations (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows).

Green Hill Act 1#

Just after the first checkpoint, there is a two checkered roofings that are placed above the player: One just after the first checkpoint and the other just after the corkscrew. What odd about it is when hacking the game's camera, it doesn't appear until the player leaves that certain area.

Green Hill Act 2#

Floating Textures#

The rail containing of the the red star rings has floating textures scattered around the area, hidden in front of the player and behind the camera. Why are these textures here is unknown.

Underwater Rock Totem#

By stomping on the bridge to take the secret path, there is a small area of water on the left side of the screen. Below the water is a stone totem chilling below. While these totems are seen above water, this one is far below it.

Chemical Plant Acts 1 and 2#

At the end of Act 1 and after the first checkpoint of Act 2, there are house-like objects that are placed in the background. Whether they are obscure or not, there is a bunch more placed below the texture floor, showcasing a lot more than what (or could be) is able to be seen in-game. (Note: The images are below is just a few of them, there are lots more that can be found in-game)

City Escape Act 1 and 2#

Found below in many buildings, there are windows that are placed below the stage and even under the buildings. The rectangular ones here are also odd in the way they are spaced separately.

City Escape Act 1#

After running down the road when meeting the GUN Truck for the first time, there is a small section of platforms where the player must climb on before the GUN Truck drives over and destroys it. In that area, there is a sign object that is supposed to appear. However, upon it spawning in, it will fall indefinitely through the ground.

Perfect Chaos#

When hacking the game's camera before the intro cutscene for the boss, the pole for the zipline first spawns inside Perfect Chaos. This later gets fixed as the level is fully loaded in.

Planet Wisp Act 2#

Half-Hidden Ring#

After the first rail grind, there is a singular ring placed at the bottom pathway if the player were to not destroy the Buzz Bombers. Oddly, it's partially placed about halfway under the ground.

Flame Emitters#

A set of three flame emitters on one of the cart sections are placed slightly out of bounds.
