Challenge Act |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Thunder Shield Challenge |
A set of three rings can be found at the beginning leftover from the main stage. The trash is not present in Rouge: The Bombardier. |
|
Thunder Shield Challenge |
A set of GUN Hunters can be found where the GUN Truck would be. They do not spawn due to the GUN Truck not present in the stage. |
Unspawned GUN Hunter#
In Thunder Shield Challenge and Rite of Spring, there is a singular GUN Hunter that was meant to spawn just before the next checkpoint (where the player could obtain a skateboard if fast enough). This can only be found in an level editor.
Act 2#
There are two sets of dash panels that are placed above where the turns would be, which can be found in Cream: Helping Hand and Dash Rings 1-2-3. There is also collision above the playing area for some reason, possibly used during early development.
Lord with the Board#
There are spikes that are placed underneath a ramp, just after the circular loop. They can't even be interacted with normally due to the spring being in the way.
Thunder Shield Challenge#
Steel Crates#
Two different sets of steel crates can be found behind the playing area. It's possible these are leftovers from "Rite of Spring" as that Challenge Act does use one of them.
Leftover Red Spring#
The red spring that used in the main stage, where using it will give Classic Sonic a boost to one of the three red falling platforms, can be found leftover from it.
Leftover Object Layout#
A bunch of objects leftover from the main stage, past the Goal Post, can be found after the loop. There are a bunch of platforms (with a slight difference), a couple springs, power sneakers, and even a checkpoint. There is also a GUN Hunter placed below a set of rings, as well as a set of three steel platforms just past that.
Rouge: The Bombardier#
End Cubes#
A stack of three cubes can be found past the Goal Post, where the end of the main stage would be. This was possibly a placeholder before an invisible barrier was implemented for it.
Leftover Object Layout#
An object layout, leftover from the original stage, can be found in the background route near the beginning of the stage where the original level would start. There is also two different sized warning signs that are placed between each other.
Rite of Spring#
Unseen Platforms#
There is a set of eight platforms just past the Goal Post, which cannot be seen as the camera does not pan to that direction. Why these are here is odd as there is no bottomless pit that Classic Sonic could fall from.
Leftover GUN Hunter#
This GUN Hunter would be placed on a cylinder platform. But since there isn't one placed, the enemy will continue downwards till it reaches the road.
Leftover Spike Objects#
Two spike objects leftover from the main stage can be found in the same location they were originally used from. (This being just after the checkpoint on the skateboard section)
Cream: Helping Hand#
Steel Crates#
Another set of steel crates, not to be confused with the other one also found here from the main stage, are placed inside a building around the first rails.
Unused Layout#
There is an unused that can be found past the Goal Ring, suggesting an earlier layout during the stage's development. A few major findings include a singular blue balloon, floating GUN Hunters next to the flight of stairs, and the GUN Truck area being semi-broken. The images below are what is not seen in the video, as they cannot be accessed or seen in normal gameplay.
Topsy-Turvy#
A set of rings can be found just behind the playing area, on the rails for the stairs. There is also a singular trick jump panel around the beginning area of the stage where one of the red star rings would be.
