Trinkets#
There are a lot of unused trinkets in the game. Originally, there were even more but the PC release of the game added in five of them as items with unique effects hidden around the map.
Unused in original release only#

- Asteroid Chunk Trinket
- There are small meteorites that can be collected in game, which might have been intended to craft this trinket.

- Chelonian Master Trinket
- Duck Feather Trinket
- Eagle Feather Trinket
- Ghost Alligator Trinket
- Badger Claw Trinket

- This one appears to be crafted from various deputy star badges, which might possibly indicate that these were originally going to be a type of item that could be collected.

- This one is very similar to the Rock Statue received from Francis Sinclair, who is implied to be a time traveller from the future.

- This one was probably going to be made out of the otherwise useless Giant Boar Tusk.

- This one is interesting, as there are no "giant rabbits" in the game.

- This one appears to be crafted from various golden valuables.

Shaving Kit#
A portable shaving kit. Presumably this would have allowed Arthur and John to shave anywhere in the world, instead of only at stationary shaving kits and at barbers.
Animal skin painting#
Four animal skin fragments can be combined to reveal a painting depicting settlers massacring a Native American tribe for their land. The landscape depicted in the painting resembles the region Valentine is located in, so this was likely meant to be connected to the "curse of Valentine" that is mentioned by some NPCs.
Letter from Abigail#
The letter John receives from Abigail in "Motherhood" actually exists as in-game item, but it's never added to the player's inventory. Instead, John simply reads the letter during a cutscene.
Ancient Arrow#
Only one of these can be found in the game, but two more exist with their own unique designs.
Ancient Eagle#
A golden eagle figurine.
Signet Ring#
A golden ring with a large X engraved into it.
Urn#
An ordinary urn.
Guarma Relics#
Four unique relics can be found. They would have been part of a cut mission in which a character named Dr. Higgins tasked Arthur with retrieving them from ruins found in Guarma.
