Quake is a story about a homicidal man who likes to kill Lovecraft-inspired monsters through barely connected level sets.
This port boasts quite a few differences and features from its PC counterpart, such as the use of Lobotomy's custom SlaveDriver engine, some exclusive levels, a new hazard called "void" and a slideshow comic extra called Dank & Scuz.

Regional Differences#
There are a number of differences between the US and EU releases of the game.
Bug Fixes#
|
|
Please elaborate. |
The US version fixes several bugs present in the EU version, mainly related to sound playing.
Ending#
The normal ending in the EU takes place in the apartment flat, while the US version takes place in E1M2 instead. The apartment flat ending is still in the US version, but requires a 100% secrets completion across all levels. Alternately, codes can be used for access. There's also a new track playing over the ending.
Cheat Codes#
Many of the cheat codes were changed for the EU release, for some strange reason.
