An August 19th, 1997 build of the Sega Saturn port of Quake (purported to be 65% complete and numbered as version 0.819) was released by vbt and SegaXtreme on March 25th, 2026.

Cheats#

While on the options in the pause menu, one can access some cheats. With an option selected, press L + R + C to enable the cheat.

Customize Contols - Paul Mode (Invincibility).
Reset To Defaults - All weapons.
Music Volume - Restore health to full.
Sound Volume - All runes. Unlike the final, there is no message indicating this.
Lookspring - Framerate counter.
