This is a sub-page of Persona 5 Royal/Unused Graphics.
Unused Dialogue Portraits#
Note that the blinking and talking graphics are normally small snippets of graphics that the game puts over the base portrait to create the effects, but here those graphics have been edited over the base portrait to show what they look like in-game.
Futaba Sakura#
Futaba has duplicates for her third semester portraits found right after the ones that are used. The filenames identify them as belonging to a different outfit, implying that Futaba was planned to have 2 third semester outfits like all the other party members.
Goro Akechi#
Akechi smiling and scowling like he does in the third semester, but in different outfits including, interestingly, his prince outfit. Note that while his other third semester expressions don't exist for these outfits, the first 3 of them have empty portrait slots whose ID's match up with the ID's of the missing expressions.
Akechi in a Shujin tracksuit using expressions that he never uses during the one scene where he's wearing it. Likely a leftover from an earlier version of the scene, as Akechi having his more stern expressions was a late change in development.
Wakaba Isshiki#
The original Persona 5 had unused Portraits of Wakaba Isshiki that were used in Royal. However, Royal introduced a new portrait of Wakaba that, funnily enough went unused.
