Unused Japanese Content#

Please elaborate.
Having more detail is always a good thing.
Specifically: Describe the contents of these files.

The game contains remnants of a planned Japanese localization. Dialogue files with the extension .jp.sdf are in the data/Strings folder.

Unused Park Music#

Park4_1
Park4_2
Park4_3
Park4_4
Park4_5

While the full game contains four parks for the player to progress through, viewing the in-game file structure shows that the files related to the fourth park in-game are referenced as PARK5. The only files which reference PARK4 are 5 unused overworld jingles (which are consistently named with other music for this purpose). It is impossible to know what the scrapped PARK4 would have looked like outside of guessing based on these files.

Frogger: Helmet Chaos Leftovers#

BUSY GUY
COUP DE FROG
FROGGER ANTHEM

Various tracks from the DS version of Frogger: Helmet Chaos remain leftover within the files of this game.

Oddities#

Careful, you'll lose an eye.

This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.
Specifically: Rip the unseen font characters.

Although the game was ultimately not brought to Japan, the language detection is still partially implemented in the final international releases. When the DS firmware is set to Japanese, the on-screen keyboard will allow entering your name in Japanese. Additional characters that can't be selected remain in some of the game's fonts.
