Frogger (SNES)

The SNES Frogger is a 16-bit rendition of the arcade classic minus the poppy music.

More infamously, Frogger was the last officially-licensed game released in North America for the SNES and Genesis prior to the consoles being discontinued, ending the "SNES vs. Genesis" console war with a resounding thud.

To do:
Unused sounds and jingles.

An unused car.

The Ren & Stimpy Show: Buckeroo$! Leftovers#

Several pieces of code from this game are present in Frogger, including music (see below).

Music and Sounds#

Instead of composing the music and sound effects, the developers lazily took all of the sound code directly from Buckeroo$!. To access the remaining sound effects and music whenever a sound is played, use Pro Action Replay (PAR) code 7E1C67?? where "??" is one of the following:

  • Sound effects: 00-29, 31-38, 3A-3B.
  • Music: 2A-31.
  • Voices: 16, 39.

There's also several jingles that remain unused from Buckeroo$! Because of the game's sound driver, the jingles leak into the music causing them to have scrambled renditions, though the music can be easily hacked to separate the two.
