Hey, Hey! Acclaim Shovelware Incorporated presents Herschel Krustofsky's clown-related rat infestation!
Unused Graphics#
A frame meant for the Rat's walking animation as seen in the intro.
Graphics of Krusty's mouth for his sprite in the intro. The middle sprite is the only one used, while the one displaying his mouth open even wider and the one completely shut are left unused. Other versions have an intro where Krusty says "Hi Kids!" to the camera, so it's likely that this animation would've been used in an SNES equivalent of that.
Hidden Developer Credits#
In level 5, one of the outdoor zones contains the names "PAT" and "SCOTT" written in the sky. (Patrick Fox and Scott Williams did the level design.) The names are too far up to be seen normally, but you can reach them by enabling extra high jumps with the Game Genie code DD3C-D704.
Special Passwords#
To open all the levels, enter _JOSHUA_ in the US/JP version or _DOOGIE_ in the EU version.

Revisional Differences#
Music#
In the US 1.0 and European versions, the music for Stage 2 is a metal tune and fitting for the level aesthetic and theme. For some reason, the US 1.1 and Japanese versions changed it to some more circus-like music to fit better with the aesthetics of the rest of the soundtrack.

The music for Stage 4 got changed too, but keeps the more grungy theme of the original song, unlike the replaced track of Stage 2.
