Alternate Graphics Set#
Like the original game, London 1969 has two graphic sets and was developed for both, Windows and DOS. The 8 bit "low colour version" is for worse computers. It makes the game look more, muddy.

Internal Project Name#
The EXE file for Windows (not the DOS versions) contains the following strings as part of unstripped debug data.
gta2.exe
e:\gta\gtawin\gta2.exe
D:\version.115\source\WINO\gta\Debug\gta2.pdb
Although the second game and this were being developed at about the same time, this suggests either the team developing London probably planned to call the game GTA2, or GTA2 was an internal code name.

Plenty of leftovers from the original Grand Theft Auto.
