Removed Golden Egg Levels#

To do:
Move these two into Revisional Differences page.

Two puzzle based Golden Egg levels that were later on replaced with the standard slingshot levels, probably at the same time as the game's release on Windows. They were likely removed due to them requiring you to use two fingers to complete the puzzles, which you of course can't do with a computer screen. Both were replaced with levels involving piles of small pigs and a singular Red at the slingshot.

Golden Egg 5#

Originally, the level featured Red, one of The Blues and Chuck, happily looking up at a realistic-looking eagle character (possibly an early design for the Mighty Eagle as the sprite names for it are labeled as "CONCEPT_EAGLE"). The player had to place two fingers on the eagle's beak to open it up, showing the star inside his beak to finish the puzzle.

Golden Egg 6#

The puzzle originally had a Corporal Pig up close to the screen sleeping, while Red watches unamused. The level was completed by placing two fingers on the Corporal Pig's snout then swiping them apart to cover the pig's eyes, resulting in the Corporal Pig waking up as well as causing his snout to fall off and revealing the star to complete the puzzle.

Intel Golden Egg#

In v1.6.3.1 for the PC version of the game, five levels for a planned Golden Egg exist, which would've acted as a cross-promotion with Intel. These levels were removed in later versions.

The idea of Intel Golden Egg would later be repurposed for the "Winter Wonderham" episode in the Android version of Angry Birds Seasons and made as a cross-promotion for the webgame, Angry Birds in Ultrabook Adventure.

LevelIntel_1#

The first level of the Intel Golden Egg is set in the first background from the Poached Eggs episode. The player is given three Chucks to fling at the structure.

LevelIntel_2#

The second level is set in the forest background from the Danger Above episode and notably has pigs attached to balloons. The player is given one Blue, two Bombs and one Matilda.

LevelIntel_3#

The third level is set in the city background from the Danger Above episode. The bird line-up in this level consists of two Blues, two Chucks and one Red.

The fourth level of the Intel Golden Egg, themed around the episode Ham 'em High. The bird line-up consists of one Chuck and two Reds.

LevelIntel_5#

The fifth and final level of the Intel Golden Egg, themed around the episode Mine and Dine. The bird line-up in this level is similar to the previous one, but with one extra Chuck.
