This is a sub-page of Proto:Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
Some flowers were originally beans in the ground, and other flowers had different designs. The trees were also a bit greener in some areas. These "greener" trees would still see some use in the final game, mostly around the entrance to Woohoo Hooniversity. Almost all areas had some kind of significant change, be it graphical or a layout adjustment.
Map 119#
The path leading back up to Hoohoo Mountain's base is just grass instead of having a dirt path to follow. The warp pipe is part of this map instead of its own tiny map, and there's no bonus cave on the left. A Bean Fruit dig spot was originally a square stone spot, and a wall of trees was a out-of-place hedge. The statue that looks at the castle has a rougher sprite with a thicker outline.

Map 120#
The Bean Fruit dig spot isn't marked/is missing, a different type of tree appears at the bottom left instead of the common one, a sign was added to the wall next to the castle town bridge, and several walls and chunks of land were stretched or squished.

Map 121#
The statue, again, has a rougher sprite. A sign was added onto the wall of the platform that holds the statue, the warp pipe is again part of this map instead of its own, a bean was added where the warp pipe once was, and a tree next to the warp pipe was removed.

Map 402#
The platform the bridge links to was moved to the right to make way for the dirt path to extend up to the wall, a sign was added to said wall, and some extra water details were added at the top right.

Map 403#
The map was cut in half due to the other half now taking place within Chucklehuck Woods itself rather than the left side of this map. The dirt path leading up to the chateau is also different and lacks flowers at its sides.

Map 124#
A brick path was added that leads to Beanbean Airport, a sign was added to the large tree, the bridge was replaced with an elevated grassy platform, and the path on the other side of the lake that leads to the airport was originally dirt instead of bricks.

The boo statue area was made wider, a green plant at the top left was deleted, a rocky platform was added with a sign attached to it, and the nest at the bottom right was removed.

Map 128#
The platform the statue is on was moved a bit to the right, with the brick square being made a bit longer as a result. The out-of-place tree was replaced with a Bean Fruit digging spot. A bean spot was added at the top right.

Map 127#
A sign was added to the wall near the castle town bridge, and the middle area was originally just a small island in a lake before it was replaced by the hammer bros. cave. This area was actually originally intended for a special, unique cutscene with a starving Yoshi who would retrieve a Beanstar piece for the bros. if they fed him 'cultivated mushrooms'. Essentially an early take on the Bean Fruit Yoshi Theater quest in the final game.

Map 126#
The entrance to Teehee Valley was originally much wider, and not blocked by any rocks at all. The entrance to the would-be hammer bros. cave area was not locked behind a Thunderhand receptacle, there was an arrow made of flowers pointy at what could be assumed to be a Bean Fruit digging spot, and the entrance to the bonus area at the top right did not exist. Instead, there is a cracked wall...that cannot be broken in this build. Finally, a sign was added to the statue platform.

The entrance to the cave bonus area originally required Mini Mario to even be able to enter the cave at all, although the tunnel does not lead anywhere in this build.

Map 122#
As mentioned above, Yoshi Theater does not exist, and as such there is no entrance for it. There are two cracked walls here, but neither of them can be broken. A tree was added up on the ledge next to the right cave. There is no Thunderhand receptacle for raising a chunk of land to reach the right cave. And yet another sign was added on the rocky wall on the bottom left.

Map 129#
Some chunks of land near the left side of the map, including the cliffs in the middle of the beach, were moved up a bit. The beach itself was extended a little bit further out, and the cliff that holds the warp pipe lost a tree and instead grew two green plants.

Map 130#
The warp pipe is, again, part of this map instead of its own map inside a small cave. The beach was extended out a bit near the top, and the surfing spot area was originally more open and not block by rocks. The Kurako standing near the surfing spot in the final also doesn't exist. Also, can you believe a sign was added on the wall next to the yellow pipe? Crazy, right? Never would've guessed.

Several small water details were added/changed, a rock in the water at the bottom moved slightly, and the two platforms were made more narrow while a third platform was added. Part of the beach down at the bottom right got cut off and replaced with water and rocks.

Some detail at the tops of the cliffs were changed, the fence was made a bit longer, and the stairs on the left side were changed quite a bit. The platforms immediately south of the Piranha Bean fight were merged into one and the bean spot was removed. Some rocks on the right and bottom left were added/adjusted.
