sq019 is a cut side quest where V would help a netrunner named Euryale investigate a group named Eyes Wide Open (EWO) that committed terrorist attacks at a night club and restaurant with a "deadly picture", a fractal created by Euryale's sister Alex. V would go to the night club and restaurant to investigate what happened there, disable Netwatch jammers and drones, and download the fractals which contain a message from Euryale's sister. After downloading these, Netwatch agent James Witwer would ask V to back off from their investigation into the attacks.

V goes back to Euryale with the fractals, and Euryale identifies the location where her sister is being kept. V goes there, but learns from Euryale that Netwatch is also on the way to the factory. V finds Alex, who is in a coma and connected to a braindance recorder. Euryale asks V to disconnect her sister from the recorder.

Before V can make a decision, Netwatch agent James Witwer arrives. The agent tells V that disconnecting Alex would damage her brain and that V should rather let Netwatch take care of her. Euryale argues against doing this, but V sees that Witwer is right in this instance.

Here the player could choose to either disconnect Alex, or to let Netwatch take care of her. If the player chooses to disconnect Alex, Alex will arrive at the factory in a "garbage drone" and seemingly drive away with her sister in a van. Letting Netwatch take care of Alex lets the player have a talk with Witwer, discussing what they will do with Alex and the fractals.
