In December 2024, the repository for Halo Studios' community-led Digsite team leaked to the public via a 4chan post. The ~90 GB leak contained the (in)famous early development builds for Halo 1, debug builds of Halo 2 and The Master Chief Collection, and various prelease content for the trilogy and Reach.
In December 2025, more content from the same repo leaked, containing Halo 2's famous E3 2003 demo and an editor for that build.
Everything in the leak had their filedates overwritten to be 1/1/2000 00:00 GMT, so true timelines are tough to piece together.
