This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

To do:

  • Sort through all the unused voice lines and upload what's important (pretty much every character has unused dialogue).
  • Dan Taylor, who is only playable (and alive) during Chapter 0, has several unused voice lines (including lines seemingly meant for the results screen, which Chapter 0 lacks).
  • Yukio (the commando who dies right at the beginning of the game before later becoming a mini boss) has a lot of unused voice lines, including a lot of screaming, as well as non-distorted versions of his used boss dialogue. A majority of his voice lines are unused (many of them are also takes of Dan's unused lines).
  • Daniel Curien has a few unused voice lines where he reveals some more plot details, which were likely cut due to the very short amount of time he's actually playable.
  • Upload the TON of voice lines from all playable characters, relating to the scrapped time mechanic found in pre-release screenshots (Daniel in particular has a lot of lines regarding time limits).
  • Upload all of the voice files relating to the Bgm003.adx cutscene that is used in the Xbox version, such as from James and Gary.
  • Unused alternate takes of used dialogue (name of these have the prefix "_B").
  • The Wheel of Fate has copies of his dialogue without all the vocal filtering.
  • Every single playable character has sounds relating to saying "welcome" and "goodbye", at least in the Xbox version (may also be in the PC version).
  • Several characters have unused title calls and voice acting for the UI (such as Daniel and Curien).

The House of the Dead III is a first-person light gun shooter, the sequel to The House of the Dead 2, and canonically takes place at the end of the series timeline in the year 2019. Originally for the arcade and later for the Xbox, then this PC port followed, which has a surprising amount of cut content, such as cut voice lines and a unused music track.

If only that was a horde of beautiful women.

A rather humorous unused dialogue line from G, clearly meant for a moment involving a large crowd of Zombies.

Daniel#

An unused sequence of Daniel lines explaining programming of the Creatures, seemingly for a full cutscene following the Rogan meeting.

My father, Doctor Curien's experiments. These are the failures.

voice_d_350.AD

They were built with three orders imprinted in their brains.

voice_d_351.AD

The first, is self-defense.

voice_d_352.AD

The second was, don't let anyone come near this building.

voice_d_353.AD

And finally, don't attack me.

voice_d_354.AD

I guess I'm not very high on their priorities though.

Bgm003.adx

An unused track that was previously used for a minigame in the Xbox version followed by the Wii version, where you play a one time only custom section of HOTD III to earn items for 2's Original Mode. This music was later used in The Typing of The Dead 2.

Bgm009.adx

The full version of the pre-Wheel of Fate fight cutscene track, which normally ends at 42 seconds.
