Grand Canal, Second Class. |
Unused location voice line for the "Grand Axial Canal, Second Class". You can never enter this area in the game, and there are no videos for it. |
Hey, man, I was talking! |
Bots don't care if you interrupt them in-game. |
Hey, don't butt in, alright? |
As above. |
Well, you go right ahead and say your piece. See if I care! |
As above the above. |
I wasn't saying anything important, anyway. |
As above the above above. |
Whew, don't mind me! |
Above. |
Do you have to keep interrupting? |
Above... |
Are you ever gonna let me finish?! |
Still as above. |
I was talking to myself anyway! |
Above. |
That looks like... a note. |
Several characters reference "a note"; seemingly it would have been a readable item found on Brobostigon's body. This clip would also have been used for the scrapped system where Bots would tell you what your cursor is pointing at. |
That's what we call... art. |
Sarky response for unused hint system as above. |
I'm no expert, but I reckon that's the auditory centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
The auditory centre? |
More hint system stuff. |
That's Fortillian. He's the BarBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
Well, if you ask me, that guy's playing bass. |
More hint system stuff. |
Hey, that's the bass man! *singing* |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess that's the bell you use to get service. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the bell to summon the DeskBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
They look like... blank cylinders to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks to me very much like a bomb. |
More hint system stuff. Additionally, the BellBot is not allowed in Titania's Chamber to see the bomb in the first place. |
Looks to me like the box for the phonograph cylinders. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks to me like Brobostigon, the project manager. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those... are CDs. |
More hint system stuff. Additionally, the BellBot never enters the player's home in the final game, where the CDs are. |
That's the cellpoint for the BarBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's my cellpoint. Change that, you change me, OK? |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the cellpoint for the DeskBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the cellpoint for the DoorBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the cellpoint for the LiftBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
Yup, that's a chicken alright. |
More hint system stuff. |
Well? That's a... chicken, I guess. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess that's the chicken dispenser. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like... chocolate to me. |
More hint system stuff. Additionally, there is no chocolate in the game. |
Primitive computer, from the look of it. |
More hint system stuff. Again, the BellBot can never enter the player's home, where your computer is. |
I guess... that's your computer. |
Same as above. |
Looks to me like the central core. |
More hint system stuff. |
I think that could be the central core. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those are music cylinders, for the phonograph. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's Marsinta, the DeskBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the elevator. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those are the controls for the fans. |
More hint system stuff. |
Hmm... feathers. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those are parrot feathers. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess those are Fruit Drops. |
More hint system stuff. It's possible that the sweets in the Second Class cabins were originally licenced confectionery. |
It's a glass. |
More hint system stuff. |
Well... I do believe... that's a glass. |
More hint system stuff. |
Looks like a hammer to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a hammer. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a hammer dispenser. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a hose. |
More hint system stuff. |
I think... that's a hose. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those look to me like... Jelly Babies. |
Another instance of copyrighted food. |
Those... are Jelly Babies. |
As above. |
Those are the buttons for the lifts. |
Krage can't be summoned in the service lift. |
That's Nobby. He's a LiftBot. |
Krage can't be summoned in an elevator. |
Looks like a LiftBot head to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
Sure looks like the LiftBot's head to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's your in-flight magazine! |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the in-flight magazine... enjoy. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's D'Astragar, the Maitre d'Bot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like one of the Maitre d'Bot's arms... I think it's holding the auditory centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like the Maitre d'Bot's other arm. It's holding some kind of key. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those are musical instruments. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's Boppy Headcase and His Laid-Back Loafers. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a napkin. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a napkin. |
More hint system stuff. |
Looks like... notes... to me. |
Another reference to the unused 'Notes' item. |
I think that's called... the olfactory centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess that's the olfactory centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
That... is the parrot. |
More hint system stuff. |
It's a... perch. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a perch. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's your very own Personal... Electronic Thing. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's your... Personal.. Electronic Thing. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... the phonograph. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like the horn off the phonograph. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... some kind of... phonograph, I guess. |
More hint system stuff. |
It's... a photograph. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a rather useful photograph... of a night sky. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's Boppy Headcase himself, at the piano-like thing. |
More hint system stuff. |
Hey... they're pistachio nuts. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... the special plinth. |
More hint system stuff. Even if the Hint system made the final release, the BellBot cannot be summoned to the moonlit embarkation lobby where the plinth is. |
That's... a gondolier. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a RowBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like Scraliontis. |
More hint system stuff. |
Thats... a giant SCSI cable! |
More hint system stuff, referring to the giant sculpture in the centre of the Sculpture Chamber. |
That's the SCSI cable! Don't ask me what it's for. Art, I guess. |
More hint system stuff; same context as above. |
That's called... the Send Yourself PlugIn. |
More hint system stuff, referring to the unused Send Yourself PlugIn system. See the main audio subpage for more info. |
That's the Send Yourself PlugIn. |
More hint system stuff; same context as above. |
That's... your television. |
More hint system stuff. Contextually, this seems to refer to the television in the player's home, which again, Krage cannot enter. |
I don't know what it's called, but it looks like a... sort of slinky blowy thing to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a flock of starlings. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like a flock of starlings to me. Wow... |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a statue of Brobostigon. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a statue of Leovinus. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a statue of Scraliontis. |
More hint system stuff. |
No question, that's a long stick. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a long... stick. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the Succ-U-Bus, the Starship Titanic's messaging, delivery, and burping system. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a Succ-U-Bus. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess those are sweets. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess that's candy. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like one of Titania's ears. |
More hint system stuff. |
That... is... Titania. |
More hint system stuff. Again, Bots cannot enter Titania's chamber. |
Looks to me like one of Titania's ears. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like Titania's ear to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
I do believe... that's Titania's mouth. (Titania.) |
More hint system stuff. This appears to be an early recording, as Krage's voice actor tries an alternate pronunciation of Titania. |
That's Titania's mouth! |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks to me... like Titania's mouth. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like... Titania's... nose. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... Titania's nose, I guess. |
More hint system stuff. |
Looks to me like Titania's other ear. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... Titania's other eye. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like Titania's speech centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
Looks to me like a speech centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like Titania's visual centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
That looks like the vision centre. |
More hint system stuff. |
What are they? Some kind of tubular bells? |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a television. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's one of the TVs. |
More hint system stuff. |
Looks like a... television to me. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's a... television, if I'm not mistaken. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... just a television. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... the other TV. |
More hint system stuff. |
Those... are te-le-vi-sions. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess those are the weather controls. |
More hint system stuff. |
This... is a short corridor. What... does it look like? |
Unused location voice line. There is some possibility this might have been intended for either the hallway to Titania's Chamber, or a scrapped joke involving corridors. |
This... is your lovely home. |
Unused location voice line for "Your Lovely Home". As previously stated, Krage can never enter the player's house. |
This is the Grand Axial Canal, Second Class. |
Unused location voice line for the "Grand Axial Canal, Second Class". You can never enter this area in the game and there are no videos for it. |
That's a service elevator. You can't go back down there. |
More hint system stuff, and yes, you can. |
This is your SGT bedroom. |
More hint system stuff; you cannot summon a bot to your SGT bedroom. |
Hammerday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day (these words are still used on the Starlightlines website). |
Rowday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Welday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Harday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Spryday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Otherday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Flatterday. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Umph. |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. Yes, this is, in fact, also the name of a day. |
Today is— |
Unused lines presumably for the current Blerontinian day. |
Just what it says it is! Plug it in and send yourself. |
Lines for "Sending Yourself", seemingly through the Succ-U-Bus system. Context for this can be found in other unused lines. |
Ouch! |
Unused lines for prodding other Bots with a stick. |
Don't do that! |
Unused lines for prodding other Bots with a stick. |
Hey, man! That hurt! |
Unused lines for prodding other Bots with a stick. |
Uh, don't prod me, okay? |
Unused lines for prodding other Bots with a stick. |
Prod me again, and I'm outta here! |
Unused lines for prodding other Bots with a stick. Looks like he would have just left the screen if you continued. |
Yeah, I know! That's the funny thing! I was only kidding about it being useful! Are you crazy?! Trying to navigate across the universe using a photo of the sky above your house? Hah! |
Referring to the picture of the sky above your house. Presumably intended for use at a time where Krage could be summoned to your home. In the final game, only Fentible mentions the picture once, and then never again. |
You can use it for looking at... that's about all it's good for. |
Seemingly the same as above. |
You'd have to ask the navigator. |
Presumably also related for asking about going home. |
It can help keep your spirits up, can't it? |
Presumably also for asking about the picture of your home. |
This is where the top guys had all their meetings. You want to access those TVs? I guess you'll need a password. |
Seems to be referencing an early version of the Creators' Chamber. |
This is where the big cheeses used to have their pow-wows. Somewhere in here is their communication system. |
As above. There is no communication system in the Creators' Chamber in the final game, but the passwords for the E-mail system in Titania's chamber are there. |
This room was used by the guys who ran things 'round here. My bet is, it's full of secrets and codes. |
As above. |
*coughing* |
Krage coughing for some reason. |
Earlier. |
First of all, if I were you, I'd check out this level, then head on down to your room. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the DeskBot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the door to the service elevator. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the door to the Top of the Well. |
More hint system stuff. |
Floor 40. |
While Krage can tell you where your room is, these numbers are unused because the Titanic only has 39 floors. |
Floor 41. |
As above. |
Floor 42. |
As above and the above of above. |
*mumbling*... sometime I don't know if I should feel that way or maybe I shouldn't; maybe it's just myself telling me that I should; ah, self-reflective consciousness is a hard thing to be; I can't understand why I'd feel that way and yet if I am feeling that way then I must be... Hmm. |
Krage mumbling to himself and possibly having an existential crisis. Possibly intended to be used while waiting for the player to finish something given the context of Fentible's similar lines, but otherwise it's unknown where this was planned to be used. |
...wonder where the pilot is... Hmm. |
More mumbling. |
Hmm... oh, maybe I should carry that up to Titania's room... not allowed up there; maybe I should go somewhere else. |
Yet more mumbling, this time remembering he cannot enter Titania's Chamber. |
Umm... that's more of, more of one of those things, one of those things... if I could just try and interpret that in the right way, I... Hmm. |
More and more mumbling. |
Sorry, that's off-limits to Second Class. They only let the big spenders in there! |
Sorry, that's off-limits to Third Class. |
There is no "Third Class" available in the final game, only First, Second, and SGT. |
Sorry man, they don't let riff-raff in there; I mean, Super-Galactic Traveler Class. |
Hokey-damn-dokey! |
Hmm, starlings... fan. Fan, starlings. I think there could be quite a useful connection here; kinda thing the BarBot would be interested in. |
More hint system stuff. |
Is the fan switch working properly? Maybe the fuse is gone. |
More hint system stuff. |
I guess the fuse is in the fusebox in Titania's Chamber. |
More hint system stuff. |
There's something funny about that cage... I think you need to get the parrot out of the way. |
More hint system stuff. |
Maybe you could give the parrot something to eat. That way, you could reach in and grab the perch. |
More hint system stuff. |
Maybe the perch is important. |
More hint system stuff. |
Maybe you should check your baggage. |
More hint system stuff. |
I think there's something in the lampshade. You're gonna have to... I dunno, blow it out somehow. |
More hint system stuff. |
What you need is a giant blower! You need something that blows like the Succ-U-Bus on a bad day! |
More hint system stuff. |
If only you could connect up the Succ-U-Bus to the lamp... |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the parrot. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's... a perch. |
More hint system stuff. |
That's the Succ-U-Bus. |
More hint system stuff. |
This room's weird. Parrots, sticks, funny perches... Grab what you can! |
More hint system stuff. |
I'm kinda fond of this room; pull a few levers and you'll see why. |
Possibly for an early Creators' Chamber; still unused now. |
*sneezing* |
Krage sneezing. |
*sneezing* |
As above. |
*sneezing* |
Above. |
That's the Second Class Canal. |
Another reference to the unused Second Class Canal. |
That's for Second Class passengers only. |
Presumably as above. |
My reliability is high, and my speed is high. |
Seemingly unused cellpoint dialogue. |
My reliability is low, and my speed is high. |
Seemingly unused cellpoint dialogue. |
My reliability is high, and my speed is low. |
Seemingly unused cellpoint dialogue. |
My reliability is low, and my speed is low. |
Seemingly unused cellpoint dialogue. |
My reliability is low, and my speed is medium. |
Seemingly unused cellpoint dialogue. |
My reliability is high, and my speed is medium. |
Seemingly unused cellpoint dialogue. |
You get three sauces here: tomato, mustard, and "bird". If you put mustard on a chicken, maybe the Succ-U-Bus won't eat it. |
More hint system stuff. |
Wanna know something funny? |
If you had a picture of the night sky above your house, you'd probably be able to use it to navigate your way home. |
Krage talking about the picture of your lovely home. |
Hey, dumb-butt! You're on the wrong floor! Check the address in your PET. |
Unused line for being on a mismatched floor to your room chevron. |
You took the wrong elevator, dumbass! Check the address in your PET. |
Unused line for being on a mismatched floor to your room chevron. |
*laughter* |
Krage laughing. |
*singing* |
Krage singing. |
*snickering* |
Krage snickering. |
*laughter* |
Krage laughing again. |
*unsuccessfully repressed laughter* |
Krage trying not to laugh. |
*singing* |
Krage singing again. |
I'll let you in on a secret: he climbed up a pipe and held his breath. |
Presumably talking about Brobostigon's unscheduled three-dimensional repositioning incident. |
It says, "Are you so dumb that you cannot read this note, but instead have to ask a very busy BellBot who really would rather be having a quick beer and catching up on the latest in the All-Worlds Lobster Wrestling Finals?" |
More lines for the unused readable Note item, this time for when Krage's in a bad mood. |
It says, "Nobody likes a smartass." Well, deceased fella, I'm with you all the way on that one! |
As above, this line also gives context as to the note either being Brobostigon's or Scraliontis's; however given the previous line about Brobostigon's trip through the Succ-U-Bus, it was most likely found on Brobostigon. |
It might be... and then again, it might not. That's another case solved, I think, Inspector! |
Due to numeral position, probably still talking about Brobostigon, though possibly also Scraliontis. |
Better question might be... who was he? |
Still likely Brobostigon or Scraliontis. |
Your guess is as good as mine... well, 93.45% as good, to be exact. |
Due to numeral positioning, seemingly the same as above. |
Very, I suspect, to the point of being extremely dead. |
Definitely still talking about Brobostigon or Scraliontis. |
Well, he's certainly got stiff joints. |
Likely as above. |
Looks to me like Mr. Brobostigon. I'd say he's been here several hours judging by the smell, and the unpleasant pallid appearance. He seems to have lost both since he died. |
Discussing Brobostigon's body. |
No can do; the ship's internal bugging devices can only be turned off if you know the code. |
What bugging devices? What code? |
I don't know. |
He doesn't know. |
No, you're right. My money's on Brobostigon and Scraliontis. |
Discussion of Brobostigon and Scraliontis. |
Can't be done. You'd have to fix the master controls. |
Unknown. |
Don't look at me, buster! |
At a guess, it's because they're held in place by strange-force technology. |
Strange force technology. TODO: I've heard this term before, where? |
Tell you what, breathe in deeply and just float there. |
Related to above. |
Tell you what, breathe in deeply and just float there. ...Hey, you're really trying it, aren't you? |
As above. |
Are you crazy?! The old fellow was in love with this ship! |
Presumably intended for if you accuse Leovinus of sabotage. |
Process of elimination! I didn't do it. You've not got the brains to do it. Only guy 'round here who gets around a lot is Fentible. Yeah, he's a mean, angry bastard! He did it! |
Discussion of sabotage. |
Whatever you've got, I hope it's not catching. This is a room, not an animal! What kind of planet do you come from?! |
Seemingly unused; intended for Krage asking if you sneezed. Fentible does have a used version of this. TODO: Re-confirm this is unused |
I guess it got an upgrade, just like you. |
Krage explaining why your PET changed. |
Could be, or it could be tiny little spacecraft built by tiny little aliens. Hmm, mmm, I think I'd go for the moth solution? |
Another reference to a Moth. There are strings and other lines for this unused creature. |
You'll need to change rooms, and you'll need the room code. |
Unknown; while you can ask Marsinta for a room change, and while she implies she's done it, your room will not in fact change, and this action isn't required to solve a puzzle anyway. |
Hmm, tricky one. I know! Why not strap them to your arms, jump into the Central Well, and rewrite Dexter Dilwitt's First Rule of Aerodynamics? |
Joking about using an inventory item to 'fly' down the well; maybe feathers? |
You're confusing me with someone who knows things. |
Look, I... I shouldn't really tell you this, but... well... the truth is, I'm gonna miss you. I'm not supposed to miss people, but... we're not robots, are we? So, what I'm trying to say is... if you wanna know about "the reason", well, there is another answer that I'm not supposed to give out unless things are looking real bad. Now, I know things aren't looking real bad, yet, but maybe this other answer will help. So here it is. You ready? Because Douglas says so. Yep, that's the answer. Don't ask me what it means. Only Douglas I knew was a hot dog salesman on Luther-4. I don't think he's the guy you're after... unless you want a hot dog. If I say any more I'll probably crash. Fact is, I'm... feeling a bit quivery, so I'm gonna power down now. |
This may be somewhat of a 'wham line' for long time Starship Titanic players. It's also very meta. Normally, every character in the game will use a generic response for a question they don't know the answer to or do not want to answer. This generic answer is "Because of, the reason." They will not elaborate on this when asked, but it was curious that every character in the game responded in this same way. It seems that Krage would have managed to elaborate partially on what "The Reason" is, causing him to nearly shut down from discussing this meta element. Because Krage's in-game AI is not as advanced as seemingly intended, he will not 'warm up' to you as implied in this line, his mood settings are linear and even when you manually change them he doesn't seem to use this line. |

Okay! |
Okay, I hope you know what you're doing, because I sure don't. |
Some lines that may imply a shared activity between the player and the BellBot, most likey to solve a puzzle. See lines directly below for additional context. |

Yeah, looks like we have a problem here. |
Related to above. |
Okay, I see the problem. But you owe me! You owe me big. |
Related to above. |
Hey! No whinging! |
Related to above. |

Ask Nobby. I don't often get to see people bored to death. |
There's complimentary soaps, shower gels, and frog dissection kits in all the washrooms. When it comes to complimentary medicine, you're supposed to bring your own therapist. |
Ask Fentible. He'd help his own murderer choose the weapon. |
Ask Marsinta. I just love seeing people be humiliated. |
Ask Fortillian. He'll help anyone if there's a drink in it. |
If I were you, I'd fix the Succ-U-Bus, get that blockage out. |
Strikes me that if you gave that parrot something to eat, you might just be able to lift that important-looking perch of his; and who knows when that might come in handy! |
Some people are born upgraded, some achieve upgrades, and some have upgrades thrust upon them. Otherwise, get the DeskBot on a good day. |
Well, it might be... and it might not. You pays you money, and you takes your choice. |
Krage's accent changes in this one. Unsure if this is on purpose, perhaps a reference to something? |
I wouldn't take orders from him in his current state. |
It doesn't cost anything to be civil, you know? |
I'm off. |
See you later! |
Have a nice day, now! |
I'm going. |
Bots cannot leave of their own accord. |
Time out! |
My break! |
I'm outta here! |
Back in five! |
Don't worry, I'll cut the gorey bits and save them for the DoorBot. Fact is... Mr. Scraliontis, being an accountant, had a pretty good head for figures. And he made his mind up that some of the fellas onboard ship didn't have a particularly good figure for heads. Specifically, our friend Mr. LiftBot. |
Referring to Scraliontis beheading Nobby the LiftBot. |
I mean, you're bound to get noticed if you step into a lift carrying a couple of big glass eyes which look surprisingly like they've been ripped out of a starship's intelligence system. Funny, that. Being an accountant, you'd think he'd just take an arm and a leg. |
As above. |
Alligator! Sorry, just testing. |
I'm employed to carry cases, man, not corpses! |
Seems intended for if you ask Krage to move either Brobostigon or Scraliontis. |
If I'd known you wanted a room with an en suite deceased project planner, I'd have arranged for one to be placed in the minibar on arrival! Sadly, Mr. Brobostigon is too heavy for me to carry there now. |
As above. |
That's the geek disposal unit. Heh, just kidding! Hey, Shorbert! Fella here wants to know, what's your reason for living! |
"Shorbert" is the Succ-U-Bus's real name. The bots don't seem to want to talk about him in the final game. |
Just head down the Second Class canal and you can't miss it. |
So close yet so far; this line implies there was 'something' down the Second Class canal to be seen, but very sadly does not elaborate on it. |
