Smurf Racer!

Smurf Racer! is your run-of-the-mill kart racing game with as the title says, the Smurfs.

This is also one of the few Smurf games where you don't face off against Gargamel at any point...mainly because the Smurfs are too busy kart racing in his property instead.

Regional Differences#

In North America, this game is known as Smurf Racer. But in the UK, the game was named 3, 2, 1, Smurf! My First Racing Game, making it much clearer that the game was intended for very young audiences.

The logo was given a bit of a redesign for North American audiences, making it look more serious in appearance (or as serious as you can get using the Smurfs' logo).

Revisional Differences#

Cinematics in PS1 and PC has some differences. Example: start4.avi and end1.avi on PC have different music and absent of sound effects. And in PC version also has additional cinematics, win animation for every character and intro animations for some characters, in PS1 version all additional cinematics cut out, due to PS1 CD-ROM size.
