Based on the titular Holo-Films from Up Your Arsenal, Secret Agent Clank is one of two Ratchet and Clank titles released for the PlayStation Portable, and the first (and only) title where Clank is the main character. It was later ported to the PS2.

Map-O-Matic#
A fully functional Map-O-Matic goes unused in the game, with its own icon, model, and description in the Inventory screen:
Featuring the latest techniques in quantum subspace detection and exploration, the Map-O-Matic is able to quickly and efficiently display all the areas of any planet! To use, simply view the planetary map - even secret areas are revealed with Gadgetron's Map-O-Matic!
The revealed secret areas, where Titanium Bolts are hidden, are present in the three maps:
Assuming the PS2 PAL version, and being in the Boltaire Museum level, use the code 0057C3D0 01 to have it in your Inventory.
Unused Size Matters leftover items#
Unused Hypershot and Box Breaker items exist as Inventory icons, which can be put in the Quick Select wheel. They don't function at all.
Assuming being in the Boltaire Museum level, open your Inventory menu, and use the following codes to put them in your Quick Select wheel:

Blackout Pen - Flamethrower Pen - Blowtorch Briefcase oddities#
There's an unused HelpDesk file that possibly implies the Blackout Pen could have been upgraded into a flamethrower weapon. No strings or icons exist for this upgrade, oddly enough. This upgrade can be seen in action in a screenshot from an early build of the game.
However, several references that the Blowtorch Briefcase was the original Flamethrower Pen weapon exist in the PS2 version files.
Inside the IMAGE.ZIP file, the images GUI/FlameThrowerPen.bmp and GUI/TFlameThrowerPen.bmp present the Blowtorch Brieface and Hellfire Haversack, although their names referencing the pre-release Flamethrower Pen.
The file BIN/LEVEL1.REL (among several others in that directory) contains textual references to the weapon, which in the retail version are used by the Blowtorch Briefcase, e.g. the Molten Bolt mod.

There's a glitch in the final game, once the Blowtorch Briefcase gets upgraded to the Hellfire Haversack, resulting in the Blackout Pen model being invisible once equipped, hinting that there is another relationship between these two. The pre-release screenshot, and unused audio track documented in the paragraph might also suggest, that the Blackout Pen model was supposed to be swapped to the one from the screenshot, and the game failing to load it in the final version.
Ratchet's OmniWrench mods#
There exist Inventory icons for Ratchet's OmniWrench mods, different and separate from the Wrench Mod menu icons. They can be put in the Quick Select wheel, although they don't function at all, contrary to the Wrench Mod menu buttons.
Assuming being in the Boltaire Museum level, open your Inventory menu, and use the following codes to put these items in your Quick Select wheel:

Qwark's weapons#
During Qwark's missions, the option to view your Inventory is greyed out and no Quick Select wheel is present, making it impossible to view these icons, weapon names and descriptions.
Two distinct items for Qwark's Blaster are present: ID 19 with 0 units of ammo capacity, and ID 21 with 60 units of ammo capacity.

too numerous to list here. For more information, perhaps you should check out Qwark's autobiography coming

The Suc-Vac 3000 is the latest in Megacorp's line of household cleaning products.
Unfortunately, this particular model has been recalled due to frequent malfunctions where it blows out instead of sucks in.
Only in the hands of Qwark could such a defect be used as a deadly killing machine.
Regional Differences#
There are four distinct releases of the PSP version of the game:
- The version released in North America, which comes in English.
- The version released in Japan, which comes in Japanese, including a localized title.
- The version released in South Korea, which comes in Korean, including a localized title.
- The version released in Europe and most other territories, which comes in twelve languages, with seven of them dubbed as well. The title is the same as English and non-dubbed languages use English audio with localized text. The languages are:
- Dubbed: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, European Portuguese, Dutch
- Not dubbed: Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Polish
Opera Soundtrack#
Watch on YouTubeFor whatever reason, the soundtrack used for the Madam Butterqwark opera level is at a higher key in all of the non-English dubs of the game. Video is of the Portuguese version of the opera.
Main Menu#

Early SAC#
|
|
To do: |
Before and after the release of Secret Agent Clank, many articles and reviews covered the game. Strangely, most of these use footage from an early build of the game, nicknamed "Early SAC". It is currently not known if these screenshots from Early SAC were included in the press kit or if journalists got direct access to an early version of the game, however, its footage was also showcased in the PSP demo menu. Many differences can be seen in this build:
- Texture changes for enemies and levels
- Weapons and Gadgets having different functionalities
- Different animations
The most notable difference is Qwark's iconic green suit being red.
