The very first Pump It Up release for home computers, which featured all songs from both the original game and its sequel, and required a dedicated foam pad to boot.

Much information about this game is shrouded in mystery, and it has its own share of oddities, such as having a very simplistic UI, timing issues in which notes can only be hit early, and it being entirely programmed in DelphiX rather than borrowing its arcade counterparts' engine. These elements persist in all Pump PC ports bearing the "Fusion" name, and even the series' first home release in the States.

Hidden Credits#

This needs some investigation.

Specifically: The decrypted executable from which this text was found is patched; verify the offsets in a decrypted but unpatched executable

Starting from 0x6A5A8 of the game's executable, Pumpy.exe, upon decryption, is a hidden credit. "tkwang" is Tae-kyeong Wang, who is listed as a developer for this conversion, as well as a system programmer for the original arcade releases, and "jhchoi" is Jae-ho Choi, who is credited under hardware programming for the arcade versions.

Furthermore, strings for an unseen section of the credits screen can be found from 0x72D8C. The two names here don't appear in the main staff list.

No Thanks KyeongEun Park, [=N2=]FootMan : p

I can't speak who is other peoples. -_-;
Send e-mail for me to know them. ^ ^;

Oddity#

The game's executable stores copies of the chart files for the song Nan neol wonhae (I Want U), even though those are normally placed outside it, in the folder DATA\STEP.
