Power Strike II (Game Gear)

This page or section needs more audio. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough audio. Please fix this. Specifically: Unused music.

Power Strike II is, as its Japanese name may suggest, the sequel to GG Aleste. Despite the name, it's unrelated to the other Power Strike II.

Scene Select#

At the title screen, press Up, Right, Down, Left, 2, 1, 2, 1 to add a scene select to the options menu.

Unused Options Text#

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.

Stored with the text for the options menu at x11C2C are a few unused (at least by default) strings:

Title Screen#

Besides the different name GG Aleste II, the Japanese title screen also has an additional subtitle not present anywhere else: Lance Bird, which is used to label the name of the ship on the title screen.

The Japanese title screen also has a tiling error on the Sega logo that's fixed in the European release.
