Aleste (MSX2)

The MSX2 Aleste, despite sharing a name with the Master System Aleste in Japan, is a completely different game from it.

It also led to the creation of Compile's Disc Station disk magazine, as the idea for it originated from the decision to make a demo disk for this version of Aleste. As the demo didn't take up the entire capacity of the disc, Compile ended up adding a bunch of extras with the free space they had and sold it as Disc Station #0, which sold better than expected and led to 32 main issues and five special issues for the MSX2, and later, versions of Disc Station for the PC-98 and Windows as well.
