OutRun (Commodore 64)

OutRun is a Commodore 64 port of the arcade game; unlike the original and most other ports, the alternate routes have been dropped in favour of simply taking the most optimal path through your chosen course.

Regional Differences#

Title Screen#

Europe	USA

• The title screen was completely changed. Credits were also added.
• The credits are in the European version, but they are located on the music selection screen instead.

Course Select before starting the game#

In the European version, to choose a route, load specific route (A, B, C, D, or E) from the disk or tape, the US version adds a menu screen based off course map screen which makes easier.

Misecellanous#

These screens were added to the USA release.
