Originally the game asked the player if they were sure when deciding whether or not to open the door for Kel, which originally would been a permanent decision (in the final game if the player chooses not to open the door for Kel they can change their mind at any time before going to bed).
#Trigger: Choose [OPEN THE DOOR or DO NOTHING]
message_5:
text: Are you sure?\!
You can't take back this decision.
#YES/NO
message_6:
text: Are you really sure?
#YES/NO
Kel also had dialogue if the player decided not to open the door:
#Trigger: Choose [DO NOTHING]
#Switch to original living room map
#Walk 3 steps any direction
message_19:
text: Oh...\! Alright, then... I understand.\!
...\! Well, I guess I gave it a shot...\kel

There are unused lines for the cutscene before the fight with the Hooligans on Two Days Left. Since they reference the player having beaten the Hooligans on Three Days Left, these are possibly a remnant of an earlier build where losing to the Hooligans resulted in a Game Over (though this is speculation, as this is not the case for the Three Days Left fights in the 2019 build, though it is the case for this fight), or it was intended that there was alternate dialogue if the player beat all the Hooligan battles. message_38 and message_44 are used, but are included to show where the cut lines went.

ALBUM_test#
This file is entirely unused and consists of early versions of the text for Basil's photo album, presumably used for testing by its name. While most of the changes in the final text (contained in ALBUM) are just spelling and grammar fixes that aren't documented here, some are larger changes. Note that so the text is displayed correctly in the table, some format code has been removed.
Various entries had changes made to their dates:

The bad ending also has unused text strings meant for a cutscene, located in farawaytown_extras_endings. Unlike in-game where the members are silent, here AUBREY (message_41), KEL (message_42), HERO (message_43) all talk to OMORI about waiting for him in HEADSPACE. Also unlike in-game where the two aren't seen in HEADSPACE at all, MARI (message_44) and BASIL (message_45) give OMORI support for his "next adventure".
