Micro Machines V3 (PlayStation)

Micro Machines V3 is the third game based on the toyline of the same name, which allows for up to 8-player multiplayer.

Regional Differences#

Opening#

• The Japanese version has a different legal screen.

Europe/US	Japan

• The opening movie is skipped with X in the North American and European versions while in the Japanese version, it is skipped with Start.
• The Japanese version has an exclusive title screen. The "V3" was dropped from the name in Japan as this was the first Micro Machines game to be released in Japan.
  • Despite this, all other references to "V3" are still in the Japanese version.

Main Menu#

• The Japanese version has a bolder font compared to the other versions. Many options have also been renamed in the Japanese version.
  • The Japanese version is mostly in English although some things, including save menus and the Driving School were translated into Japanese.
• In the North American version, X confirms and Triangle goes back while in the Japanese version, Circle confirms and X goes back.
• When exiting the driving school in the North American and European versions, the player has the option to go back to the main menu or bypass to go straight back to the driving school. This was removed in the Japanese version in this specific instance.
