Mass Effect 3 is the final game in the Mass Effect trilogy, whose ending was so controversial that people filed complaints with the FTC about it. It was also a Wii U launch title for some reason. It was later remastered in the Legendary Edition, albeit without the multiplayer component and, thus, a reworked War Asset scoring system.
The game was not released on the Steam PC platform until June 2020 in its N7 Deluxe form, with its myriad DLC originally as a separate purchase. Even then it still required the Origin platform (and the EA App after that) to run. The multiplayer was still there though.

Glitched Zaeed Dialogue#
By importing a Mass Effect 2 save file in which Zaeed survived the suicide mission, he'll appear in a short sidequest in Mass Effect 3. Afterward, Shepard can speak to him in the refugee docks, but most of his conversation loop does not actually trigger despite the recorded dialogue being present in the game files.
One of the game's writers stated at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 that the conversation loop broke several days before the game's release and the programmers were unable to fix it in time.

Revisional Differences#
The Steam release was updated on May 6th, 2023. All of the game's DLC was given to all owners and added to the base game for free (a good move considering how controversial locking away Javik as paid DLC was back then), though the game itself was moved from Origin to the poorly received EA App.
