This needs some investigation.

Specifically: There's a odd file on the disc, s50a001d.p68, which appears to be an audio file from one of the 'cut games' mentioned on the Teletransport Smurf page. What format is it in?

This page or section needs more videos.
There's a whole lotta words or pictures here, but not enough videos. Please fix this.
Specifically: Get a video of the unused Philips bumper playing, if possible

A CD-i port of The Teletransport Smurf that was only released in France.

Unused Video#

philips.rtf contains the graphics and audio for the updated Philips Media bumper. However, it never plays due to Infogrames publishing the game by themselves instead of through Philips.

Interestingly, the bumper's audio lacks the synth note that plays at the end of the animation.

Unused Text#

At 0x290800 and 0x2DC800 in the file ressourc.dat is the game's text in English, German, and Dutch. The only language the game can be played in is French, leaving these translations unused. In addition, the Dutch text at 0x2DD800 repeats the used French lines instead of using proper translated ones.

Development Text#

At the start of ressourc.dat's text segments are two developer notes. The first, located at 0x28F800, is a small note pertaining to the quiz sections. The unused translations also have this note, but with "(QUIZZ ANGLAIS/ALLEMAND/HOLLANDAIS)" tacked onto the end.

The second is at 0x2DC000, and is a note about certain menu lines. This note was also kept for the unused translations, with the English one adding "(ANGLAIS)" to the end of the Module 49 line.
