Hitman: Contracts is the third title in the Hitman series. It is a partial remake of the first game, Hitman: Codename 47, remaking several of its missions (interspersed with new ones) under the premise of a near-death 47 flashing back to them.

Unused Weapons and Items#
These weapons and items can be obtained only through the game console (using the command GIVEALL) or cheat menu (again, using GIVEALL). While not truly unused by definition, these items are simply unusable to the player. If select and/or dropped, they cannot be holstered or picked back up.
Cardboard Tube#
Lethal paper weapon
"Made from 6 mm ultra dense, hand forged Musashi cardboard"
- Weapon description
The Cardboard Tube is the only weapon that can be spawned also with the cheat "IOIPENNY" (a confirmation message will display if correct). It is intentionally hidden thanks to it being one of the deadliest weapons 47 can get his hands on. Not only does it kill enemies in one hit, but it often sends their bodies flying! Strangely, despite it obviously being made of pure Musashi-forged cardboard it can be detected by metal detectors and used to slit enemy throats from behind.
Item_Flask_Pocket_01#
Nothing to say, just an average hip flask. This flask is seen in a cutscene, but is unavailable to the player.
Vacuum Cleaner#
The Vacuum Cleaner appears only in Traditions of the Trade, used by the Hotel Galar cleaning staff. Normally only they can carry it, but by using cheats it can be spawned in the player's inventory. Unfortunately, all that can be done with it is equipping it, as it has no function of any kind whatsoever, even if 47 is in the right disguise for it. It cannot be holstered, not due to its size but sharing the same unholsterable, un-pick-upable qualities as the other unused pieces of gear.
Bright Yellow Rubber Duck#
Toy
"This bright yellow rubber duck, emits a loud squeak when squeezed
Someone around here is probably missing his favorite toy"
- Item description
A...rubber duck. Yup. It can be spawned in Slaying a Dragon. Whatever purpose it has other than squeaking is unknown, as once again its simply a "hold" item. If dropped, it can be picked up, but will not be displayed in the inventory, forcing players to use the GIVEALL cheat again if they want to see its description. It was likely a part of "Traditions of the Trade" as that has its share of bathrooms and a large swimming pool where a rubber ducky wouldn't be out of place.
Rubber ducks later became a recurring, fully usable item in later Hitman titles, usually sporting vastly deadlier functions.
